During 2007 year Java open source technologies expert, SoftAspects, teamed up with UK logistics solutions provider Optrak to integrate
open source Business Intelligence platform Pentaho with Optrak's commercial product.
SoftAspects performed the integration using Java open source technologies like Pentaho BI, Liferay portal,
WebGalileo Facesİ RIA components and successfully deployed the solution at the UK's leading supplier to the catering industry.

Preparing new release of it's commercial product line, US security technology provider approached a challenge to provide multi-platform support for it.
Migration of the existing product to Mac OS X was ordered from SoftAspects, a versatile platforms solutions expert.
SoftAspects migrated the commercial product to Mac OS Tiger platform within the timeframe and the budget allowing to extend potential customers base for the US security technology provider.

Under constantly changing requirements and pressure of release date availability, SoftAspects developed alpha version of LicenseManager product
from the scratch for US security technology provider using Java open source technologies like Hibernate, Axis Web Services, JSF components.
During alpha version development the customer was able to be focused on business concept of the product and not complex mix of versatile open source
technologies deployment. Once alpha version was delivered by SoftAspects, the customer was able to polish the release and prepare it for 1.0 version for it's customers.

Within 2 months SoftAspects delivered prove of concept solution to US wealth management services provider.
The workflow based project implemented using Java open source technologies like
JBoss jBPM, Liferay portal, JSF, WebGalileo Facesİ RIA components.
It allowed to estimate TCO of the whole product to be developed, prove the concept to share holders, raise further funding for the product.

SoftAspects launched on-site training for Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) technologies.
Addressing high demand in on-site training from companies involved in development of RIAs,
SoftAspects started to provide training related with RIAs development:
- AJAX
- Drag-n-Drop
- Integration of JSF based RIAs with Spring, Hibernate, Facelets frameworks
- Integration of JSF based RIAs with JSR-168 Portal environments
- SOA approach for JSF based RIAs
- Performance optimization of JSF based RIAs in enterprise scaled projects

Being the experts in the java open source technologies, Rich Internet Applications, JSR 168 Portals,
